Will Spring Ever Come

Well we got hit again with more snow in the Midwest. This means the store wasn't able to open. But we are all looking forward to spring soon!! We want to have a big Spring Grand Opening in April or May but need your help. Post some theme ideas for us and you might just win a prize! We should have our website open soon for online purchases. Right now our hours are Tuesday-Friday 11-5 and Saturday 9-5 weather permitting.

Valentines Day is just around the corner. We have lots of cards, wrapping paper, stickers, candles, bath products, Tastefully Simple, hats and clothing. Perfect for that special someone, jewelry of all price ranges, young and old! New and second hand!

We Are Moving Most of the Clothes Out

Treasures and More is trying to move out all the clothes to make room for some wonderful pieces of furniture coming in the store soon. We have winter coats, sweatshirts, formals, ladies business attire, men's dress shirts, t-shirts, sweaters, beaded jeans, vintage clothing, regular jeans, and lots, lots, more! We have a lovely crockpot for sale at the shop. I love my crockpot! Here is a recipe for the crockpot.
Cheesy Chicken

Ingredients

• 6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
• salt and pepper to taste
• 1 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
• 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
• 1 (11 ounce) can condensed cream of Cheddar cheese soup
• 1 (8 ounce) container sour cream

Directions

1. Rinse chicken, and pat dry. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Place in slow cooker.
2. In a medium bowl, mix together cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup and cream of Cheddar cheese soup.
3. Cook on Low for 6 to 8 hours. Stir in sour cream just before serving.

Serve over rice, noodles or mashed.
